Faruque Hassan, founder member of the Board of Trustees at BUFT, former President of BGMEA and Managing Director of Giant Group, has taken over as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT).
Faruque Hassan was unanimously elected for this position during BUFT’s 54th Board meeting on 21 October 2024. His appointment represents a key milestone in enhancing the University’s partnerships with academia, research, and the garment industry. Mr. Hasan’s leadership is expected to pave the way for BUFT’s continued growth and enhanced industry connections.
