A fire broke out at Raihan Fashion Garment Factory of Noor Group in Gazipur’s Kaliakair upazila this morning.
Six fire-fighting units are working to douse the fire, reports our local correspondent quoting Saiful Islam, warehouse inspector of Kaliakair Fire Service.
The fire broke out at 9:30 am at the garment factory in Chandra area of the upazila, he said.
Upon receiving information, two units of Kaliakair Fire Service and four other units of nearby fire services reached the spot and are working to douse the fire, he said.
However, it was not immediately possible to know the origin of the fire and the extent of damage, he added.
