A fire broke out at a food factory in Postagola of the capital’s Purbo Jurain Wednesday night.
The firewas reported at 11:22pm. Seven firefighting unitsresponded to the blaze at 11:30pm.
“Firefighters are trying to tame the flames. No casualties were reported and the extent of damage could not be confirmed immediately,” Shahjahan Shikdar, deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters, said.
“Also, the reasons for the fire mishap could not be known.”
