Professor Moslema Khatun, a very senior professor of English literature of Home Economics College died of old age complications in the late hours of 23rd February. She was 94. She left behind three daughters, one son, and a host of relatives to mourn her death. She was a senior final year’s hons student in 1952, gave leadership to Dhaka University students in ’52 student movements. In her personal life, she was married to the distinguished educationist of the country (late) Professor Mohammad Noman. Janaja held at Taqwa Mosque after the zuhr, Saturday and laid to Azimpur graveyard.
