Govt issues 11 directives to enforce mask

The government has issued 11 directives to ensure mask-wearing in the wake of growing coronavirus infection across the country.   

The instructions were passed on Monday, says media report.  

In order to curb the spread of Covid-19, people will have to wear mask and maintain health hygiene outside the homes.    

The instructions are following:

Wearing mask is mandatory for officers, staff and service recipients in government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices. The office authorities will monitor situation.  

Service recipients at public and private hospitals and other healthcare centres will compulsorily wear mask.

People who are going to educational institutions, mosques, temples and churches will have to use masks. The local administrators and managing committee members will ensure it.

Sellers and buyers at shops, shopping malls and markets must use masks. Local authorities and market managing committee will look into the implementation. 

Without mask, trading will not take place between buyers and sellers at any market . Local administrators and committee members will monitor it.
