Dhaka East Zone and Dhaka Central Zone of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC (IBBL) organized Agent Banking Business Development Conference and Workshop on Prevention of Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing on January 31 at a local hotel in the capital.
Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director of the Bank addressed the conference as Chief Guest. Mohammed Jamal Uddin Mazumder, Additional Managing Director and Md. Mahboob Alam, Deputy Managing Director of the bank addressed the conference as special guests. A.K.M. Mahbub Morshed, Senior Executive Vice President presided over the function while Dr. M. Kamal Uddin Jasim, Deputy Managing Director, Md. Shamsuddoha, Senior Executive Vice President, Md. Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, Head of Dhaka East Zone, Abul Laise Mohd. Khaled, Executive Vice President the Bank also addressed different sessions of the conference. Head of branches and proprietors of the agent banking outlets under the two zones attended the conference.
