Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC (IBBL) organized a cybersecurity awareness workshop titled “Cyber Security Awareness for Agent Banking” for the owners, in-charges and employees of agent outlets under the Dhaka Central, Cumilla, Khulna, Rangpur, Chattogram North, and Chattogram South zones over virtual platform on 19 December 2024. Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder, the bank’s additional managing director, addressed the workshop as the chief guest. Abul Laise Mohammad Khaled, executive vice president, presided over the event while vice president Md. Muslesh Uddin delivered the welcome speech. A total of 930 participants from agent outlets under those zones attended the day-long workshop.
