A student of University of Information Technology and Science died on Monday morningof injuries she sustained in a road accident on September 13
The deceased was identified as Ananya Chowdhury Phul, 21, daughter of Abdullah of East Basabo in the capital’s Khilgaon.
She was a 1st year student of the BBA department in the University.
According to the DMCH source, Ananya breathed her last around 10am on Monday while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Sayed Farhad Islam, cousin of the victim said Ananya fell on the road and suffered serious head injuries after being hit by a mini truck while going to her home around 12pm on Sept 13.
She was rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital around 3:40pm on the same day, he added.
The body has been kept in the hospital morgue for an autopsy, source added.
