Jamuna Bank Foundation organized a free medical camp for the first time at Chormadhua Government Primary School in Raipura of Narsingdi district to provide medical assistance to unprivileged people, a press release said on Monday.
Jamuna Bank Foundation chairman Nur Mohammed inaugurated the program as the chief guest where patients with eye, gynecological, diabetes problems received free healthcare service.
The release said, through this Medical Camp 4000 eye patients has been given free treatment, medicine and among them 320 patient has been selected for eye operations.
Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, managing director and CEO of Jamuna Bank Limited, presided over the program while deputy director Md Abdus Salam and local social worker Ahasan Shikder were present as special guests, the release mentioned.
At the end of the program, the chairman of the Foundation and the managing director of the bank inaugurated the month-long tree planting program.
