BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia’s health condition has remained unchanged.
Khaleda Zia is still receiving supplementary oxygen. Her diabetes remains the same as it was in the past. She also has a kidney complication.
Prof Dr AZM Zahid Hossain, Khaleda Zia’s medical board physician, confirmed on Monday that the BNP chairperson is receiving post-Covid-19 treatment at the hospital’s Coronary Care Unit (CCU).
Khaleda Zia has been in CCU for the past 14 days, according to the doctor, after her admission to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
She has chronic disorders such as arthritis, diabetes, as well as cardiac and kidney problems, although she is recovering from Covid-19.
