Plan International Bangladesh’s Child Not Bride Project and RDRS Bangladesh jointly organized an awareness meeting on reproductive health services and family planning services among teenagers at Holokhana Union Parishad of Sadar Upazila of Kurigram district on Wednesday.
Sanitary pads, iron and folic acid were distributed among the 35 girls present in the meeting. Kurigram district family planning department deputy director Md. Modabber Hossain, assistant director CC Dr. attended the distribution ceremony. Md. Manjur Rahman, chairman of Holokhana Union Parishad Rezaul Karim Reza, Technical Specialist of Child Not Bride Project Nusrat Jahan Piya and other dignitaries. In addition to reproductive health services for girls, physical height, weight, blood pressure measurement etc. activities were conducted in the event.
