Jurno Mugniur Rahman wins Best Photographer Environmental Issues

Mugniur Rahman Moni, a renowned photographer, journalist, poet, author, and environmentalist, was named the 2024 Best Photographer for Environmental Issues. In addition, Moni has received a certificate and a commemorative plaque for his selfless efforts to save Mother Nature’s most amazing and endangered locations and species in the current dire world circumstances, particularly in Bangladesh.

Mugniur Rahman Moni received the award certificate and crest from Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, the head of the Nature Study Society of Bangladesh (NSSB), during a lavish event held in Dhaka, on Monday.

Rahman Mugniur Through the founding of numerous nature and environmental organizations, such as the Sherpur Bird Club, Save Humanity, and Interrupted Nature and Environment (Shine), Moni has dedicated more than 25 years of her life to preserving the environment and the natural world. Since 1988, he has been photographing wildlife and the natural world, and he is always learning from it. He works on the preservation, advancement, and study of wildlife, birds, nature, and the environment and is connected with a number of domestic and international organizations. Moni has been the Senior Vice President of the Sherpur Press Club, longtime general secretary of the Bangladesh Journalists Association, and president of the Bangladesh Photojournalist Association’s Sherpur District Branch. Along with performing a variety of social service tasks, he is also active in a number of cultural and social groups.
