Superintendent of Police of Nilphamari Mohammad Mostafizur Rahman (PPM) has recently distributed blankets as winter clothes among the cold victims in Nilphamari.
He distributed the blankets on Friday night from 10:30 to 1 am among more than 300 people living on the roadside and in different parts of the town including old station, college station of Nilphamari.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md. Amirul Islam, DB officer-in-charge Md. Akheruzzaman, DI one Abdur Razzak, officer-in-charge of Sadar police station Abdur Roop, were also present during blanket distribution.
Mostafizur Rahman said, “Many helpless people are crying in the cold outside and on the streets. So if you go out on the street at night, you will find the people who really need support. So we are distributing blankets poor people with winter clothes under the initiative of the district police.”
