No political parties will get permission to carry out political meetings, rallies and programmes from December 18, a notification issued from home ministry informed this on Thursday.
Department of Public Security of Ministry of Home Affairs issued the notice.
The notification signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Ministry Habibul Hasan said, “This is to request that from December 18 till the end of polling necessary measures will be taken for carrying out any meeting, rally or any other kind of political program which may obstruct the election work or discourage the voters from voting.”
