No sustainable development without quality education: Moni

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said that no development will be sustainable if the quality of education is not improved.

The minister said this while inaugurating buildings and laying foundation stones of various educational institutions in Narayanganj today, said a release.

Noting that the present government is giving utmost importance to the development of education, she said, “The Awami League government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been able to bring almost 100 percent children under the education programme at the initial stage.”

The government is working relentlessly to ensure the quality of education, Dipu Moni added.

“To ensure proper and quality education for the future development of the country, the curriculum is being formulated on the basis of knowledge, skills and values… In future mega projects will be taken up in the education sector,” she added.

 State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md. Zakir Hossain and Mayor of Narayanganj city Selina Hayat Ivy , among others, were present on the occasion, said the release.

The minister laid the foundation stone of Kadam Sharif Girls High School and dormitory of Narayanganj Fine Arts Institute in Narayanganj Bandar Upazila.
