North South University (NSU) Library celebrated ‘National Library Day 2025’with a grand event on campus, reinforcing its commitment to academic excellence and knowledge-sharing. NSU continues to champion the transformative role of libraries in education and beyond.
This year’s theme, Enrich the Library—Our Commitment), inspired a series of engaging activities aimed at fostering research, collaboration, and student participation.
The event was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of NSU, accompanied by the Treasurer, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (IC), Deans of the four Schools, and senior academic and administrative officials. Their presence, along with a large gathering of students, faculty members, and library professionals, made the celebration truly remarkable.
To mark the occasion, NSU Library organized various special initiatives, including research support workshops, on-the-spot library user services, a celebratory procession and photo sessions, and a waiver of fines for overdue book returns. The event also featured campus-wide banners, social media campaigns, and the distribution of exclusive “I Love NSU Library” badges to promote library engagement.
