The North South University (NSU) organized a discussion session on ‘Scopus, research metrics and its impact on NSU research’ recently, a press release said Wednesday.
Vishal Gupta, Senior Customer Consultant -South Asia, Academic & Government Accounts, Elsevier, India was present as the Keynote Speaker. Dr. M. Ismail Hossain, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NSU chaired the session.
All Deans, Chairs, Directors (academic) and Young Faculty members from the different departments participated in the session.
The NSU Library has been using “Scopus”, an Abstract & Citation Database for NSU faculty members, researchers and students since 2017. It helps to make the research workflow more efficient and empowers institutions to bolster performance, ranking and reputation.
