The Career and Placement Center (CPC) at North South University (NSU) organized a seminar titled “AI for Future Leaders” in collaboration with NetCom Learning. This flagship event was crafted to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for success in the fast-paced world of artificial intelligence (AI).
The esteemed Vice-Chancellor of North South University, Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Ph.D., graced the event as the Chief Guest with an inspiring address, underscoring the critical role of industry exposure in cultivating future leaders. He stated, “This initiative was designed to equip students and recent graduates with valuable insights into the transformative impact of artificial intelligence across diverse sectors.” Participants engaged in interactive sessions benefitted from expert mentorship and expanded their knowledge in an enriching environment.
The event featured notable representatives from NetCom Learning, including Mr. Abdul Ahad, General Manager; Mr. Abdur Rahman Mamun, Head of Partnership; and Mr. Md. Imdadul Islam, Senior Business Development Manager, each of whom shared valuable insights with students. Mr. Abdul Ahad emphasized the importance of early career development in AI, while Mr. Abdur Rahman Mamun expressed, “We are thrilled to visit North South University and connect with some of the brightest students, ready to begin their leadership journey in AI.”
Professor Mohammad Khasro Miah, the Director of CPC, delivered the closing remarks, expressing his enthusiasm for future collaborations with NetCom to bring AI-focused seminars like “AI for Future Leaders” to students. “This partnership underscores our commitment to bridging the gap between academia and the evolving field of AI, empowering our students with the skills and insights needed to excel in technology-driven careers,” he stated.
