NSU placed 155th in QS Asia University Ranking

North South University (NSU) is placed 155th in QS Asia University Rankings 2025, published on Wednesday.

This makes NSU the no 1 private university in the country. The 155th position  also makes NSU the second best university in the country, including all private and public universities.

A total of 984 universities are ranked this year across 25 Asian countries. The significant leap from last year’s 191st position to this year’s 155th in QS Asia shows the university’s improvement in education and research.

Prof Dr Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, the vice-chancellor of NSU, noted that the result is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of the entire NSU family including students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

He has also expressed his joy to see a good number of Bangladeshi universities joining the ranking this year.
