NSU signs deal with Mariano Marcos State University, Philippines

North South University (NSU) has virtually signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mariano Marcos State University, Philippines, a press release said Friday.

The purpose of this MoU is joint research, publications, students and faculty exchange and developing the quality of education.

Vice-Chancellor of NSU, Prof. Atiqul Islam these agreements will not only benefit NSU, but also help Bangladesh to reach across international boundaries and create new opportunities to introduce and promote their quality of education.

He said NSU has at present a total of 183 academic collaboration agreements with renowned universities and organizations across the world. But this marks the first time that NSU has come into agreement with a university in Philippines, he added.

Prof. Atiqul Islam, Vice-Chancellor, NSU, Dr. Katherine Li, Director, External Affairs were present at the virtual event on behalf of NSU. From the Mariano Marcos State University, Dr. Shirly C. Agrupis, President, and Dr. Angelina B. Abrojena, Dean, College of Business, Economics and Accountancy were present.
