The number of deaths and injuries of students in the recent protests will be known after the reopening of educational institutions, Education Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury on Tuesday.
“We have to see how many students actually took part in the protests. The actual information about deaths and injuries will be known when the situation will become normal and educational institutions will reopen,”he said.
The minister came up with the remark at a press briefing at the Law Minister’s residence.
The government is working to collect necessary information, said the minister.
