NUST holds workshop on 4th industrial revolution

A training workshop on ‘4th Industrial Revolution and Our Role as a Higher Educational Institute’ was held on January 21, 2023 at the Noakhali University of Science and Technology (NUST) for its officers.

The workshop organized by NUST’s Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) its seminar room was attended by Dr. Didar-ul-Alam, Vice Chancellor of the university, as the chief guest.

Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr. Mohammad Abdul Baki, Registrar Mohammad Jasim Uddin and NUST Officers’ Association President Sakhawat Hossain were present as the special guests. NUST IQAC Director Prof Moahammad Anwarul Bashar presided over, while Datasoft Systems Bangladesh Ltd. President Monjur Mahmud was the resource person.

Didar-ul-Alam said, “We have a talented generation who will move Bangladesh forward in the 4th Industrial Revolution. We have to continuously adjust to the new technologies and use our will force. Only then the Prime Minister’s vision of a digital Bangladesh will be materialized.”

He said to utilise the opportunities of the 4th Industrial Revolution, the country has to developed skilled human resources. The universities have to play the leading role in this regard, he added.
