Palashbari Union of Nilphamari Sadar Upazila has been declared child marriage free union. On this occasion, child marriage prevention play, song and discussion meeting was held on the initiative of Shishu Forum on Sunday afternoon.Organized by World Vision Bangladesh Nilphamari Area Office, Palashbari Union Parishad Ground Program Officer Moitry snal chaired the meeting, Palashbari Union Parishad Chairman Ibrahim Talukdar, Secretary Ashiqur Rahman, UP member Abdur Rahim and others spoke at the meeting. At the end of the discussion, the child marriage free union was announced by blowing balloons.
Students of all educational institutions of the union and people from various professions participated in the child marriage free ceremony.
