Miscreants set a passenger bus on fire at Motijheel bak chattar in the capital Dhaka on Thursday morning during the ongoing 48-hour countrywide blockade of road, rail, and waterways called by the BNP and like-minded opposition parties.
Rozina Akter, Duty Officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters, said a bus of Gazipur Paribahan was set on fire around 9:30am in the area. Local people doused the fire with extinguisher before reaching the firefighters.
No casualty was reported in the incident, she said.
