Primary education opens path of creating patriotic citizens: Bidhan Ranjan

Primary and Mass Education Affairs Adviser Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder today said quality primary education opens the path of creating able and patriotic citizens and builds foundation for building a nation.

“Primary Education is the staircase of a nation’s development and progress,” he said while exchanging views with officials of the ministry and subordinate bodies at the ministry conference room, according to a press release.

Noting that the nation has huge aspirations centering primary education, he urged the ministry officials to work with honesty and sincerity to meet the aspirations to build a discrimination free society.

Primary and Mass Education Secretary Farid Ahmed chaired the view-exchange meeting while Additional Secretaries Nurjahan Khatun, Masud Akhtar Khan and Dr Abu Shahin Md Asaduzzaman, Directorate of Primary Education Director General Abdus Samad and Bureau of Non-Formal Education Director General Dr Abul Kalam Azad were present, among others.
