Prime Bank Limited has signed Group Life & Health Insurance Coverage Agreement with Guardian Life Insurance Limited to provide comprehensive life insurance benefits to the bank’s employees and their families, said a press release.
Ziaur Rahman, SEVP & Head of HR Division, Prime Bank, and Mahmud Afsar Ibne Hossain, EVP & Head of Group Insurance, Guardian Life Insurance, signed the agreement at a ceremony at the bank’s Head Office in Dhaka on May 31, 2021.
The release stated that the insurance scheme would cover different aspects of healthcare needs including hospitalization (IPD), maternity, outpatient (OPD) benefits, critical illness and death benefits and will provide wider coverage to the bank’s employees, their spouse and children.
Hassan O. Rashid, Managing Director & CEO; and Faisal Rahman, Additional Managing Director, Prime Bank, and Sheikh Rakibul Karim, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Shamim Ahmed, EVP & Chief Operating Officer and Ahmed Istiaque Mahmud, EVP & Head of Bancassurance;Guardian Life Insurance, among others were present at the ceremony.
