Biman Bangladesh Airlines has withdrawn nine more employees linked to the question paper leak of the recruitment exam held on October 21 last year.
Biman Managing Director and CEO Shafiul Azim issued a notice in this regard on Thursday.
The decision will be effective soon.
The nine employees are motor transport scheduling supervisor Mahbub Alam Sharif, Traffic Abdul Malke, Al Amin, Aomgir Hossain, Tapos Kumar, Ayub Uddin, motor transport operator Nazrul Islam, Faruk Hossain, Mizanur Rahman, and Mohsin Ali.
On July 5, the Detective Branch of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police filed a charge sheet against 30 including 26 Biman employees.
It has been alleged that the accused have been collecting, leaking, and distributing question papers among job seekers for a long time.
Earlier, Deputy General Manager of the security department Major Taiz Ibna Anowar had been removed on January 1, Deputy Secretary Muhammad Nizam Uddin Ahmed (GM, Administration and Human Resources), was also withdrawn from his post on June 14.
Former managing director and CEO Zahid Hossain was removed last year in December for involvement in the question paper leak of the recruitment test.
In January, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism issued a reminder to the Biman authorities to act against the question leak perpetrators, but the directives are reportedly yet to be implemented.
