
The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) has signed agreements with 8 training institutions to create 10,000 new skilled workers in the construction sector. REHAB has completed the training of 21,000 construction workers in 3 phases. Of whom 90 percent have been employed abroad, including with various developer companies. REHAB is conducting this training program under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) of the Ministry of Finance. The MoU was signed with the institutions at the REHAB office today, January 29, at noon. REHAB President Md. Wahiduzzaman and Senior Vice President Liaquat Ali Bhuiyan signed the agreement on behalf of REHAB. At that time, Rehab Vice President (Finance) AbdurRazzak, SICIP-Rehab Project Standing Committee Member and Rehab Training Institute Standing Committee (RTI) Chairman Rehab Director Eng. Md. ManjurulFarhad Philip, Co-Chairman and Rehab Director Eng. Sheikh Md. ShoaibUddin, Rehab Training Institute Standing Committee Member and Rehab Director F.M. Ubaidullah, SurujSardar, Muhammad LabibBillah and Project Chief Coordinator KaziAbulKashem and various officials were present.
