On behalf of Rotary International District, 3281 and 3282, financial assistance of more than Tk 15 lakh was provided to 150 victims of the recent fire at Bangabazar Market in Dhaka.
Rotary governor MA Wahab handed over money to the affected businessmen of Bangabazar Market at a programme held on Wednesday at Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka.
Former governor Khairul Alam, governor (nominee) Hafiz U Biblab, district secretary Atiqur Rahman and other leaders also spoke on the occasion.
