Salma Adil Foundation stands by poor students

Renowned non-profit social welfare organization ‘Salma Adil Foundation’ has provided financial assistance among the poor-talented students in Chattogram, press release said Monday.

The students appeared for secondary school certificate (SSC) from different schools in Chandanaish and Banshkhali upazilas in the districts recently. The prorgamme covers students from Bailchari Najmunnecha High School, M Anwarul Azim Girls High School, Kalipur Ezharul Haque High School, Banigram Sadhanpur High School, Jora Khankhanabad High School, Jora BC High School, and Fatenagar Sharifunnessa Nazir Uddin High School.

Regarding the initiative, SAF founder Salma Adil said that the programme aims to support the students to continue overcoming financial hardship.

“Education is the backbone of a nation. When we support the backward communities, the country will get ultimate inclusive growth,” she said.

Abu Obaida Arafat and Kamrul Islam from Banshkhali Times, Imtiaz Uddin and Noton Dev from SAF were present in the programme. Salma Adil Foundation works on education, social service, and humanitarian activities for positive change in society.
