A scientific workshop was held jointly by Universal Medical College Hospital in Mohakhali, the capital, and the Pediatric and Neonatal Critical Care Learning Group.
In this day-long workshop organized at the lecture gallery of the Medical College on Tuesday, about fifty doctors from various institutions working in the neonatal and pediatric departments from all over the country, this workshop was held on the modern treatment of complex and dying newborn and pediatric diseases. As a result of this workshop, newly born premature babies, babies of mothers suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure, and at-risk newborns and children across the country will receive immediate life-saving treatment through these trained doctors and it is expected that the child mortality rate in the country will decrease further. Under the overall supervision of the country’s renowned neonatologist and pediatrician and Chief Consultant of Universal Medical College Hospital, Professor Dr. Md. MonirHossain, the workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Md. Abdul Mannan, Professor Dr. MahfuzaShirin, Professor Dr. NurulAkhterHasanBipul and Professor Dr. Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, along with 9 other renowned pediatricians from the country.
Dr. Ashish Kumar Chakraborty, Managing Director of Universal Medical College Hospital, delivered the closing speech at the workshop and presented the “Certificate of Attendance” to the pediatricians who came from all over the country. Media Pro was the event partner of the program.
