SSF demands cancelation of licenses of 25 syndicate members

Top leaders of Shommilito Somonnoy Front, BIARA has demanded cancellation of the license of the syndicate consisting of 25 members to ensure a transparent process in sending manpower to Malaysia, a press release said Monday.

They recommended imposing legal punishment for the syndicate members for depriving the rights of the authorized recruiting agencies in the country. 

Dr Mohammed Faruque, President of Sammilito Somonnoy Front, placed 10-point demand for stopping the illegal manpower export business to Malaysia through syndicate.

He demanded amendment to the MoU between the governments of Malaysia and Bangladesh held on December last regarding the manpower export terms and conditions which are going in favour of the syndicate members and voiced for allowing all the authorized manpower recruiting agencies to send manpower export to Libya. 

The SSF President also urged the government to close the Foreign Workers Centralized Management System (FWCMS) in exporting manpower to Malaysia. He demanded ensuring the legal rights of all the authorized manpower recruiting agencies to send manpower as per the Competition Act 2012 and ILO Convention policy and for ensuring the legal rights of all the authorized manpower recruiting agencies to send manpower as per the Competition Act 2012 and ILO Convention policy.

Reaz-ul-Islam, Sr. vice president and Mustafa Mahmud, secretary general of SSF were also present.
