Students left the road announcing non-cooperation movement

The students of the private university of the anti-discrimination student movement left the streets announcing the non-cooperation movement from Pragati Sarani in the capital. On Saturday (August 3) around 5:30 pm, they finished the protest march and moved towards North South University.

Earlier, the agitating students gathered from the North South University around 1 pm and occupied the Pragati Sarani Road with a protest march through the Bashundhara Main Gate. Badda Road from Kuril Bishwar Road was closed due to this. However, moving ambulances and patient-carrying vehicles are allowed to move. At that time there were a large number of policemen but they were not stopped.

At 5:15 pm, coordinator of the protesting students, Mashroor, a student of North South University, said, “We will not let our blood go in vain.” The government will have to account for my brother’s death. Every murder must be prosecuted. The injustice being done to us by the police must be stopped. We will continue the non-cooperation movement from tomorrow until our demands are met.

Mashroor also said, “Our students’ movement has been joined by teachers, parents and people from various professions. They are also expressing solidarity with us. We want everyone to cooperate in our non-cooperation movement. Police brothers will also show solidarity with us.
