Tigers have beaten Sri Lanka by 33 runs as the tourists scramble down on 224 for all wickets by playing 48.1 overs in the first ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday.
Bowlers Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mustafizur Rahman, Saifuddin and Shakib Al Hasan took four, three, two and one wickets respectively.
Bangladesh scored 257 for six in their stipulated 50 overs. Three senior batsmen Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah scored 52, 84 and 54 runs respectively.
