A day-long training programme on ‘Systematic plantation, collection and storage of medicinal plants’ was held atMogbazar in the cityon Thursday, said a press release.
The programme was jointly organizedby Bangladesh Herbal Products Manufacturing Association (BHPMA) and Medicinal Plants and Herbal Products Business Promotion Council (MPHPBPC)supervised by the Ministry of Commerce.
Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, additional secretary to Commerce Ministry was present as chief guest while Dr. AlamgirMoti, president of BHMPA, presided over the session.
Brigadier General (Retd)KhandakarFarhad Hossain, director (admin),Modern Herbal Group,Dr. KM ShamimulHasan, former assistant professor,Govt. Unani College, AnowarMushtaq, programmecoordinator, BHPMAwere present as special guests.
