A day long training programmeon Cultivation of homestead medicinal plants and its primary processing”was held atKanchpur of Narayanganjon Friday, said a press release.
The programme was jointly organizedby Bangladesh Herbal Products Manufacturing Association (BHPMA) and Medicinal Plants and Herbal Products Business Promotion Council (MPHPBPC) under a commerce ministry wing.
Md. Abdur Rahim Khan, additional secretary to the commerce ministry and co-ordinator of BPC was present as chief guest while Dr. Anowar Mustaq, co-ordinator of BHMPA presided over the programme.Brigadier General (Retd)Khandakar Farhad Hossain, director (admin) of Modern Herbal Group,Dr. KM Shamimul Hasan, former assistant professor of Govt. Unani Collegewere also present as special guests.The workshop was moderated by Dr. Md. Abdul Wahab.
