The trial of two cases filed against Rafiqul Islam Madani, better known as Shishu Bokta for his boyish looks, began at a Dhaka court yesterday with testimonies of the complainants.
The cases were filed with Motijheel Police Station in the capital and Gacha Police Stations in Gazipur under the Digital Security Act.
Madani, aged reportedly over 25, faces allegations of anti-state remarks and trying to incite chaos.
The judge yesterday recorded the statement of the plaintiffs who were later cross-examined by Madani’s lawyers.
