Two people died from dengue and 23 more hospitalized with the viral fever in the country in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning.
According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), with the new death, the fatalities from the mosquito-borne virus rose to 10 this year and infection rose to 756.
In 2023, Bangladesh recorded 1,705 deaths from the viral disease.
In the latest daily count, hospitals in Dhaka admitted
Three more patients admitted to the hospitals in Dhaka and 20 admitted outside it.
Of the 165 dengue patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country, 71 were in Dhaka and 94 outside the capital.
