The 20th Board Meeting of the newly formed Board of the Directors of Union Bank PLC. was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka on 20 February, 2025.
Honorable chairman of the bank Md. Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting. Besides, chairman of the Risk Management Committee Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mohammad Saiful Alam, Managing Director (CC) of the bank Mr. Shafiuddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Directors Md. Jahangir Alam and Mr. Mohammad Iqbal were present in the meeting. In the meeting, details were discussed and important decisions were taken to improve the bank’s business, investment, financial condition and customer service quality.
