Universal Medical College Hospital has placed floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabadhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to mark National Mourning Day and 47th Martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Monday, a press release said.
A discussion meeting was also held at auditorium of the college. Prof. Dr. Utttam Kumar Paul presided over the programme. Prof. Dr. Sayed Anwer Hossain, Head of Literature department of Dhaka University was present as chief guest . Mujammel Hossain Monju, editor, Daily Samakal and Prity Chakriborty Chairman Universal Medical College and Chairman of FBCCI was present as guest of honor. Dr. Ashis Kumar MD of the hospital delivered the welcome speech.
Dr. Md Wahiduzzaman Vhuiyan, professor, Radiology and Imaging spoke as invited guest. Higher officials, consultants and students were also present.
