Universal Medical College has signed a healthcare agreement with Dhaka Club Limited on Saturday, a press release said.
It also held a discussion and dialogue with the club members on an ongoing project ‘OBOSHOR’ under Public Private Partnership (PPP)of the medical college with the Department of Social Services under Ministry of Social Welfare.
OBOSHOR is the counties first senior citizen medical resort including 50 bed hospital where people over 60 age can take short and long time residence and get the proper health care.
Pranab Kumar Niyogi, secretary and CEO of Dhaka Club and Dr. Ashis Kumar Chakraborty, MD, Universal Medical signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organization.
Under the agreement, members, employees and their family will enjoy discount on their treatment, executive health checkup, cardiac health checkup, and other emergency services.
Md. Ashfakur Rahman, senior manager (admin), Kazi Sirazus Salehin, deputy finance manager (internal audit) , AKM Shahed, AGM and Ruha Alam (Ruhel), corporate manager of Universal Medical also signed the agreement.
Prity Chakroborty, Chairman, Universal Medical and director FBCCI, Dr. Ashis Kumar Chakraborty, MD, Universal Medical, and C. F. Zaman, independent brand analyist of the project OBOSHOR, also spoke on the occasion
