The reputation of the Family Planning Department should be maintained in providing maternal and child health and adolescent care services.
Deputy Director of Kurigram District Family Planning Department Md. Modabber Hossain has called upon everyone to fulfill their duties with utmost transparency and accountability and perform their duties with sincerity.
His remarks came while delivering speech as chief guest at the monthly coordination meeting of the Family Planning Department at the conference room of family planning office at Bhurungamari upazila of Kurigram district on Monday.
Presided over by Upazila Family Planning Officer Satya Ranjan Roy, the meeting was also addressed by Medical Officer (Clinic) of Mother and Child Welfare Center, Md. Salauddin Babu, Medical Officer (MCH-FP) of Bhurungamari Upazila Family Planning Office, Md. Bulbul Ahmed and others.
Officials and employees of all levels of the field level and representatives of private organizations were also present.
Upazila Family Planning Officer Satya Ranjan Roy said everyone should be more sincere in fulfilling the departmental duties assigned to them, including their position at their respective workplaces.
Medical Officer (Clinic) of Mother and Child Welfare Center Dr. Salahuddin Babu said normal delivery or cesarean delivery is currently going on at the mother and child welfare center. “We are committed to providing support in all aspects related to safe delivery.”
