Obaidul Quader leaves for Singapore for regular health check-up

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader on Tuesday left Dhaka for Singapore. He left for Singapore for his regular health check-up.

Quader, who is also the Road Transport and Bridges minister, left Dhaka by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG 0584bat about 8:30am.

Awami League office secretary Biplob Barua confirmed it.

He said the AL general secretary Obaidul Quader left for Singapore for his regular health check-up.

It is expected that he will return to Dhaka by a flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines at 6:00pm on January 25 (Thursday) next after his health check up at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore.

Obaidul Quader was seen off by Biplob Barua and other Awami League members Sahabuddin farazi, Anisur Rahman, Nirmol Chatterjee, officials of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges.

In March 2019, Obaidul Quader was diagnosed with three blocks in his heart. Then he was taken to Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore where his bypass surgery was done. Since then he has been going to Singapore for health check up after a regular interval.
