Awami League (AL) candidate Railway Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujon has been elected unofficially by a huge margin from Panchagarh-2 constituency in the 12th parliamentary elections held today.
Returning Officer said, Sujon bagged 1,74,504 votes with Boat symbol while his nearest rival of Jatiyo Party candidate Ripon secured 8600 votes with plough (Langal) symbol.
