After a break of four years, Aurthohin, one of the popular bands of Bangladesh, is planning to begin a show in Dhaka again through Dhaka Rock Fest 2.0 .

The country’s popular band Aurthohin was not performing shows as its lead vocalist had been physically ill for long due to stomach cancer. After having treatment, he has been recovered and returned to the world of music.
Dhaka Rock Fest 2.0 will begin for the second time on December 23. Sky Tracker Limited organized the event sponsored by Banglalink Digital Communication Limited. 15 popular bands of Bangladesh will take part in it.
The concert will be held at Hall No. 4 (Navratri) of the International Convention City Bashudhara in the capital. Popular entertainment app Toffee will stream the whole event,. Dhaka Rock Fest 2.0 has been arranged in the current year to bid farewell to 2021 by rocking the residents of the capital, even though it could not be organized for the band lovers last year due to Corona pandemic. The day-long concert will feature popular bands like Warfaze, Aurthohin, Avoidrafa, Cryptic fate, Indalo, Shubhayatra, Conclusion, Shrapnel Method, Brahmaputra, The Tree, Subconscious, Thrash, Arekta rock band, and Calypso.
The gate of ‘Dhaka Rock Fest 2.0’ will be opened on December 23. The program will continue throughout the day from 11 a.m.. Ticket price has been fixed at 500 Taka. Aurthohin is one of the most popular bands in Bangladesh and Sumon is the founder and team leader of the band, that began in 1999. The band has released seven albums so far. Their first album ‘Trimatrik’ was released in April 2000. All the albums of this popular band have been best-selling from the beginning. So far, their last album Cancerer Nishikavya was released in 2016. Originally a rock band, now they are also performing heavy metal songs.
