Renowned music artiste Shaon Chowdhury performed at a special live musical show at Canada’s NRB television channel on July 31, a press release said Thursday.
Shaon Chowdhury presented various genres of music including Rabindra Sangeet, modern, old days songs, Nazrul Sangeet, films, ghazals etc. in this two hour special event held from 10.30 PM to 12.30 PM Canada local time.
An artiste performing such diverse genres of music at one event is a rare feat. Shaon marked a clear impression of his atypical musical talent through this program. The artiste performed songs of many legendary artistes of the subcontinent along with his own original modern songs.
While expressing his feelings about the program, Shawon Chowdhury said, “The love of countless audiences from different countries including Canada, America has given me an indescribable feeling in my artiste life.” The show was organized by artist Shyamal Basak, directed by Sapna Das and hosted by Tabassum Priyanka.
It is to be noted that, Shaon Chowdhury’s songs have been aired on various television channels in India, Nepal, Maldives and England.
