Chief of General Staff of Bangladesh Army Lt. Gen. Ataul Hakim Sarwar Hasan has inaugurated 3-day long ‘5 th Daffodil Captain Cup Golf Tournament 2022’ as Chief Guest at Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC) in the city on Friday 11 November 2022, a press release said.
The tee-off was witnessed among others by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan,Chairman, Daffodil Family, Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University, Major General Md. Zahirul Islam, Vice President, KGC, Brigadier General Sayed Md. Rafiqul Islam, Club Captain, KGC, Brigadier General Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), Chairman, Tournament Committee, KGC, Brigadier General GSM Hamidur Rahman (Retd), Chief Executive Officer, KGC, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Chief Executive Officer, Daffodil Family, Dr. Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar, Major Arman Ali Bhuyan (Retd.), Project Director (Development) of Daffodil International University, all the executive committee members ,Colnel Md. Shahidul Haque (Rtd.), CEO, KGC, Lieutenant Colonel Abu Md. Sayedur Rahman (Rtd.)-General Manager, Club Affairs, KGC, Lieutenant Colonel Md. Anwar Hossain (Rtd.), GM (Golf Operations) KGC were also present in the inaugural ceremony. In different categories a total 600 Golfer both Male and Female from home and abroad took part in the tournament.
