Australia win toss, opt to field against India in World Cup final

Australia have won the toss and decided to field first against India in the final match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 at the 130,000-seat Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad of India, the largest cricket stadium in the world.

The match kicked off at 2.30 pm on Sunday (November 19).

Both the team made no changes in the playing squads.

Playing XI’s:

India: Rohit Sharma(c), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul(w), Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj.

Australia: Travis Head, David Warner, Mitchell Marsh, Steven Smith, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Josh Inglis(w), Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins(c), Adam Zampa, Josh Hazlewood.
