
Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) has become the champion in the BKSP Cup International Athletics Competition 2025.
The BKSP won the championship with a total of 37 medals, including 22 gold medals, 12 silver and three bronze, said a press release.
However, Rajshahi Division was the runner-up with a total of 10 medals, including two gold, two silver and six bronze medals, while Nepal won the third place with a total of six medals, including one gold, one silver and four bronze medals.
Shipan Mia and Azmi Khatun of the BKSP were the fastest man and the woman of the competition respectively.
On the other hand, Md Tamim Hossain and Tasmia Hossain became the best
athletes. Md Tamim Hossain bagged three gold medals in the boys' category and Tasmia
Hossain got four gold medals in the girls' category.
At the award giving and closing ceremony of the contest on Tuesday, Director General of the BKSP Brigadier General Md Munirol Islam said the national team would be stronger through the athletes, who participated in the competition. The competition started on Monday.
