The six teams of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) moved to Dhaka from Sylhet today for the next two rounds of the group phase.
Apart from Sylhet Sunrisers, who had already been eliminated from the playoff race, the next two rounds will be crucial one for the rest of the five teams.
Fortune Barishal and Cumilla Victorians had already confirmed their playoff berth but they will play to place them in first two positions. Those two teams, however, in top two positions at this moment but they could loss the spot in case of a defeat.
Khulna Tigers, Minister Group Dhaka and Chattogram Challengers will vie for the next two spots of the playoff.
However, Khulna Tigers will take on Cumilla Victorians in the first match of the day tomorrow while Minister Group Dhaka will face off Fortune Barishal in the next match.
Since it is Friday, the first match will be held from 1.30 PM and the evening match will start from 6.30 PM.
Ensuring the top two places is important for the teams because if they can be in top two position, they will get the chance to play the Qualifier-1. And the winner of the Qualifier-1 will move to the final straightway but the loser will have another chance to give a shot at final.
The teams with third and fourth position will play the Eliminator which means, the loser will be eliminated straightway but the winner will take on the loser of Qualifier-1 for final.
